History

Light and Life Clinic opened its doors for delivery care on May 2, 1979.

From the beginning, the need for an emergency room was evident. Although consultations were provided when necessary, the care needed for the critical time of a sick person was lacking.

Not long after, the emergency room was opened to care for accident victims, the injured, patients for rehydration or conditions that needed to be stabilized before being referred to the hospital.

Local physicians were called in for emergencies or patients were sent to the clinic for admission. Thus a medical center was established for the immediate care of critically ill patients.

The Light and Life Clinic was founded by Faith Evangelistic Missions for the purpose of assisting the female population at the time of delivery. It also attends other patients with illnesses that require special care from people such as doctors, nurses and nursing assistants. From the beginning to the present year, more than 10,600 deliveries have been attended.

We are a non-profit organization, serving the community for more than 44 years; with 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Plans for an amazing future.

Upon completion of construction, we will have the capacity to serve a greater number of patients, perform more surgeries, and accommodate additional medical teams. The clinic will also create employment opportunities for local professionals, contributing to job growth and economic development within the community.
